Annually, Stars Scholarship Fund enlists the support of businesses and organizations to become a sponsor of our Extravaganzas. Our sponsors enjoy benefits such as being guests at the Extravaganza and year round media exposure.

The Stars Extravaganzas are held in Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, and El Paso. Our first annual Extravaganza held in El Paso featured General Colin Powell. Previous presenters for our south Texas events have included Seth Meyers, Karl Rove and Steve Forbes.

Stars expenses are largely underwritten by L&F Distributors and Anheuser-Busch, enabling Stars Scholarship Fund to direct 100 percent of every dollar contributed by sponsors towards student scholarships.

We look towards the future with great enthusiasm and energy to build on the accomplishments of the past year. With the funds raised in 2013, we will be able to award an additional $2.5 Million in scholarships in 2014, bringing our total impact to $23.6 million in scholarships to over 11,000 students since our inception. The number of scholarships Stars Scholarship Fund can award is directly related to the success of our Extravaganzas, therefore we strive to ensure each Extravaganza is better than the last.
