Newschannel 9 spoke to Lydia Patterson Institute boys soccer Head Coach Ruben Yuen today, and he said LPI defeated Awty Houston 1-0 in the Tapps Division II State Semifinal, advancing to the Division II State Championship 12:00pm MST Saturday vs Grapevine Faith Christian in Houston.

LPI has won state championships in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
