The Las Cruces girls basketball team bowed out of the state high school tournament with a 52-40 defeat against Sandia.  The Bulldawgs led by one at the half but could not survive a third quarter when Sandia outscored them 18 to 4.  A great season for 'Cruces endw tih a 26 and 3 record.
