Las Cruces Fairacres Little League falls in Southwest Regional Final

It was a cinderella season... a history and record breaking season... but it won't end in the Little League World Series.  Fairacres Little League fell to Texas West (Corpus Christi, Texas) 6-0 in the Little League Southwest Regional Final in Waco, Texas.  Texas West pitchers Jacob Garcia and Juan Sosa combined to pitch a no-hitter in teh 6-0 victory, advancing Texas West to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennslyvannia.

The Fairacres Little League All-Stars won the New Mexico state championship two weeks ago, and according to coaches, this is the first time a team from Las Cruces has advanced to the Little League regionals in 40 years.

The team includes Noah Coyle, Matt Giles, Wilson Bannister, Dominic Telles, Justin Almegar, Benito Garcia, Justin Lopez, Jeramiah Apodaca, Ryan Rosales, Kaden Palmer, Josh Castillo, Fernando Lorea, Ivan Molina, Coach Jay Rosales, Manager Scott Bannister, & Coach Deryl Palmer. Members of this team have also won the USSSA State Championship and the AABC State and Regional South Plains Championship.
