House Excited for 2nd Year with Packers
While most NFL teams prepare to welcome in newcomers for rookie minicamps, the vets get a few extra weeks to prepare. That is just fine for former New Mexico State defensive back Davon House who is about to start his second season with the Green Bay Packers.
Davon had a mostly frustrating rookie season in 2011 spending most of the time recovering from injuries. Now healthy, he says he's excited for his sophomore season.
"I feel 100%. I'm excited. They drafted a corner in the second round. I feel like that's going to make us want it even more and work harder," said House. "It's totally different from college. It's a lot harder. It's work, it's a business. People need to realize that it's not just fun and games. It's our life."
Davon says he is working out on his own until he reports for Packers OTAs on May 22nd.
