The Burges Mustangs (10-2) will face Wichita Falls Rider (10-2) in the 4A Regional Quarterfinals, the farthest the football team has advanced in the playoffs... ever.  Burges is led by twin brothers, Aaron adn Alvin Jones, while Rider is paced by J.T. Barrett, a quarterback who has committed to play at Ohio State.  Barrett will not play this weekend due to a knee injury, but Burges is not taking Rider lightly.

"Everybody has been congratulating us on the job we have done, and we know we can win the next game, so we're going to work hard to win the next game," said Aaron Jones.  Alvin Jones added, "This is going to take everybody, all out, 100 percent, nobody is giving us a chance anyways, so we have nothing to lose, so we just have to give all we have got."

6:00pm MT Saturday, Burges vs Rider at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.  In other high school action, Las Cruces will face Eldorado at Wilson Stadium in Albuquerque at 1:00pm MT Saturday in the 5A New Mexico State Semifinals.
