The Bowie Bears defeated Clint by a mere 3 points, then last Friday, Bowie erupted for 42 straight points in a 42-7 over Parkland.  That victory has to be one of the biggest for Bowie in a decade, when it's been 14 years since Bowie has made the playoffs.  Now the Bears have an eye on the playoffs because this team will not come apart, they are bonded like family.  Bowie Head Coach Robert Padilla said, "We had a tight bunch last year, but this year they seem to doing everything together, even a running joke, they go to the bathroom together. It's worked well, so it's worked out for us so far."  Senior Linebacker Victor Hernandez added, "We are like a swarm of bee's, we are together as one, we are all one right now. Nobody is an outcast, everybody is playing the game as a team."

Bowie will travel to San Elizario this Friday, September 10.  Game time 7:00pm.
