UPDATED: Monday, September 23, 2013 - 10:18pm

Time to announce the top 9 High School Football teams in the Borderland for Week 4!

Another week, another blowout win for the top team on our list as Las Cruces made quick work out of the previously #1 ranked team in New Mexico, Rio Rancho. #2 Mayfield held off a late charge from Manzano to stay unbeaten. Montwood took out their frustrations from last weeks loss to Smithson Valley on Bel Air to open District 1-5A with a win. In the "Game of the Week" #4 Coronado jumped out to a big first half lead and held off previously 4th ranked Americas to start District play with a win and move up from 7th to take the Trailblazers place in our ranking and dropping Americas to 5th.  El Dorado held onto the 6th spot after handing Eastwood their first loss of the year. Franklin makes their first appearance in the Fine 9 this season after impressive back-to-back 50+ point game. Andress remains at #8 with a bye week but open District 1-4A this week against Burges. Eastlake also makes their Fine 9 debut this season having opened District 2-4A with two wins but will be put to the test Friday against Hanks. Be sure to tune into NC9 Overtime every Friday night at 10:15!

It's not surprising that Bowie High School would be excluded from your biased top ten even though they are 3-0, thus rendering your biased poll fictitious at best The authenticity of the poll is not only bogus, but questionable at best!
Why are both Las Cruces teams one and two? They are not in El Paso!
