UTEP Men's Basketball Coach Tim Floyd joked at Monday's press conference that he has to re-think buying donuts for the UTEP football team after victories.  After the overtime victory against Stoney Brook to open the season, Floyd thought he might not spend that much money, but UTEP is now 4-3 after a 31-17 victory against Colorado State.

"After watching the Stony Brook game, I didn't think it was going to cost me much money, and I've been a little bit shocked with what I have watched with this football program. It's getting real expensive at this point."

Also today, Floyd announced that the Haskins Center scoreboard will have individual players points next to the score, as in years past.  Floyd took that off last year, hoping for a more team concept, but many fans were angry that individual points were not on the scoreboard.
