Floyd, UTEP Hope To Go Dancing on the Eve of March

March Madness is already here, and many in the Sun City wonder if UTEP will be dancing in March. College Basketball Bracketologists have either one or two Conference USA teams in the big dance, and UTEP is not one of them. ESPN has UAB in, Memphis one of the first four out. Rivals.com has UAB and Memphis in the dance, UTEP out. it will be a wild next two weeks.

UTEP Head Coach Tim Floyd is coming off a big 74-47 victory over Memphis, improving UTEP's record to 21-8, 9-5. Floyd spoke about coming off a big win over Memphis, and hoping it translates to more victories down the road. "You hope are not unrealistic, you hope you understand that Memphis is not as bad as they were that night. We did a lot of good things that we need to remember, continue to work on, and to continue to do those things well."

7:00pm Wednesday, UTEP will host Marshall (20-9, 8-6) on Senior Night. UTEP will say goodbye to Seniors Randy Culpepper, Jeremy Williams, Julyan Stone, Christian Polk, Wayne Portalatin, Isaac Gordon, Claude Britten, and Eric Muñoz.
