Faith Christian Academy Varsity Soccer team wins Texas Christian Athletic League (TCAL) State Tournament , held in San Antonio, TX Dec. 9-11.

Faith defeated San Antonio F.E.A.S.T. Home School in the state quarterfinal 2-1;
Houston Mt. Carmel Academy in the semifinal 2-1;
and Tyler Christian Heritage Academy in the final, also 2-1.

Overall season record (including state tournament): 11-0

Outstanding players:

Fernando Torres – Fernando is a senior at Faith, plays defender/midfielder. Lead the team with 59 steals, and also lead the team with 10 assists. Had 6 goals on the season.

Saul Ramos – Saul is a Junior, plays defender/midfielder. Second on team with 57 steals, second leading scorer with 7 goals. Also had 7 assists on the season.

Jesus Flores – Jesus is a Sophomore. Lead our team in scoring the second straight year. 15 goals on the season, second on team with 8 assists. Jesus scored the game-winning goal in the TCAL State Championship game, and assisted on the first goal (2-1 victory).
