Saturday, August 7:  Emmitt Smith is the NFL's all-time leading rusher with 18,355 yards, and now he can call himself a hall of famer.  Today, Smith, alongside John Randle, Dick Lebeau, Jerry Rice, and Floyd Little, was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.  "It's not about me being immortalized, it's about me representing the gift, and representing it the right way. I could not think of a better way to do that than being enshrined ito the hall of fame with some of the great players that I am going in with."

I don't know that I've ever liked a football player anymore! I like football and watch it with my husband and we love the Saints but only if they are not playing the Cowboys. I would like to say that Emmitt Smith won my heart with his smile on the field and the dance floor. Emmitt's smile comes from inside and it truly shines. I would like to say to football players all over that people not only pay attention to you on the field but are watching you off the field and want to look up to you! ILDS

Emmitt Smith is a perfect example of the best in football...A real class act, a credit to the Dallas Cowboys Team and all professional football. He deserves this honor. "Way to Go Emmitt"
