El Paso Rhinos "Think Pink" vs Park City
The Rhinos will have its “Pink in the Rink” weekend at the Sierra Providence Events center this Thursday-Saturday January 26-28.
The El Paso Rhinos will be facing the Park City Moose and will also focus on increasing breast cancer awareness.
In regards to this Pink in the Rink, Coach Herman stated “we are very excited about this weekend, Pink in the Rink is a great hockey tradition and, most importantly, it is for a great cause,” since the proceeds of the pink jerseys that will be worn and auctioned will benefit Memory Miller. However, the focus is still on improving and winning games, to what he commented “record aside; we need to be focused for the Park City Moose. With the additions they have made and their play of late, their record doesn’t show how good of a team they are.”
The weekend will kick off on Today with Thirsty Thursday; beer will be only $1. The Pink Jersey Auction will take place on Saturday night and will benefit Memory Miller and; as always, there will be Chuck-A-Puck and activities during each game of the series. All games begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and are free for all Military members and their families when they present their ID, courtesy of Interglobal Logistics.
Tickets are still available at all Ticketmaster locations and at the El Paso County Coliseum box office and Sierra Providence Events Center box office. The Events center box office opens at 6 p.m. on game nights.
