Wednesday, August 4:  The El Paso High School Volleyball has won 8 of the past 10 district 1-4A titles, but after being led by Joe Morales, the Tigers have a new head coach for the first time in 10 years.  Ysenia Alarcon takes over at her alma mater, excited to be back at El Paso High in C.D. Jarvis Gym.  "You know, the first day back on campus, when i had the pep rally, I was a bit nervous like normal, but I got in here heard the fight song, and it was like being back home. So i am really excited.  I want high intensity workouts, and the girls expect that. Not only do I push them but they push me, because they already know the pace we go. Senior Libero Amanda Sianez added, "We really like her, she is really fun, she's easy to talk to, and we all get along very well with her."  El Paso High will start the season Monday, August 16 at Parkland.
