The El Paso Chihuahuas offense collected 17 hits and 12 walks in their 13-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees at Smith’s Ballpark Thursday night. The 11-run win matched the Chihuahuas’ high for largest margin of victory, which they first set on May 12th in an 11-0 win over Albuquerque. Designated hitter Jonathan Galvez went 4-for-6 with two RBIs Thursday.

El Paso’s Jake Goebbert was retired only once in six plate appearances, picking up two hits and four walks. Goebbert now has a .406 on-base percentage in 75 Pacific Coast League games this season. Cody Decker went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs. Decker has hit four home runs in four games at Smith’s Ballpark this season.

The Chihuahuas batted around in both the sixth and seventh innings Thursday. El Paso’s Juan Oramas lasted seven innings, marking his longest Triple-A start of the season.
