It opens on Friday, March 1st at Bassett Place Mall and will run for at least a week.

UTEP basketball coach Tim Floyd, Mary Haskins and Nolan Richardson are only a few of the big names to be part of the movie, including team members Tim Crenshaw and Jim Bowden.

The 1976 Eastwood Troopers basketball team is regarded as a top five sports moment in the history of the city.

Ten years earlier, Texas Western pulled off their own major feat, and both championships are discussed and compared in the film on what it meant to the city of El Paso.
