After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, the Grand Prairie AirHogs scored two in the third and added two insurance runs later in the game to beat the El Paso Diablos 4-1. AirHogs starting pitcher Bo Schultz pitched six innings and, after conceding a run in the first, buckled down to limit the Diablos to just the one run. Schultz scattered seven hits and struck out four batters. AirHogs 1B Greg Porter went 3-for-4 from the plate with a homer and three RBIs, and 2B David Espinosa had three hits in three at-bats with two runs scored and an RBI. Grand Prairie reliever Jon Hunton pitched a scoreless ninth inning to close the game out and earn the save. For the Diablos, 1B Kyle Nichols went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI.
