The El Paso Diablos fell to Lareado tonight, 13-8, but that wasn't the worst part of their day.  NC9 learned that the El Paso City Council will discuss and vote on a proposal for a new downtown baseball stadium to attract a Triple-A baseball team.  Within that proposal is an amendment which states that the City, no anyone else, can operate Cohen Stadium with an affiliated or independent baseball team.  A new downtown stadium and Triple-A team would mean the end of the Diablos in the El Paso city limits.  Newschannel 9's Beau Bagley has your 10pm sports!
