Led by LF Nelson Teilon, the Diablos took an impressive, 17-8 win over Grand Prairie Tuesday night. Teilon led all batters in hits (5), runs (3) and RBI (3). But that's not to discount the stellar night the rest of the El Paso lineup had at the plate. Every batter in the starting lineup had at least two runs or two RBI with four reaching two in both categories. But no one outshone Teilon, whose 5-for-6 night ended with a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth, leaving the left fielder a triple shy of the cycle. Grand Prairie jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but back-to-back three-run innings made way for a five-run fifth that shot the Diablos way out in front. And they stayed there. At the plate for the AirHogs, DH Cesar Nicolas went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI, one of three Grand Prairie players with multiple hits. Starting El Paso pitcher Alex Kaminsky earned the win, striking out nine batters in six innings while giving up six runs on seven hits.
