David "El Nino" Rodriguez Delivers Third Round Knockout

Coronado High School's own David "El Nino" Rodriguez moved his professional record to 35-0, last night in the Don Haskin Center. In front of the home crowd Rodriguez knocked out veteran and well experienced fighter Owen Beck in the third round.

In what was supposed to be Rodriguez biggest test up to this point in his career, proved to be nothing more than another knockout for Rodriguez to add to his resume of 33 KO's. After Beck started the fight strong landing a solid straight right and a few midsection shots that phased Rodriguez, El Nino took over the rest of the fight. Rodriguez delivered a barrage of punches to Beck that produced a cut over his right eye. Than in the third round Rodriguez was able to land multiple booming left hooks to knockout the big Jamaican.

"El Nino" moves his professional record to 35-0 with 33 knockouts and 0 loses and retained his Mexican and NABA Heavyweight titles. Rodriguez promoter Zeferino Ramirez is an the process of setting up a fight with California heavyweight Chris Arreola.

When do you think he's going to stop fighting these nobodies and start taking on real opponents? he has a fluffed up 35-0 record with noone of note. He needs to stop running from Chris Arreola and fight him. sad to see some talent to to waste because he's afraid of competition.
