Take that Eli Manning.

After guiding the New York Giants to four consecutive wins against Dallas, Manning and his team mates committed six turnovers and the Cowboys opened their season with a 36-31 victory.

Even with the half dozen mistakes, the game was in doubt until Brandon Carr returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown with 1:20 remaining in the game.

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo  completed 36 of 49 passes for 263 yards with a pair of touchdowns and one interception.  He also sat out a portion of the first half after taking a shot to the ribs, but started the third quarter and  hit Jason Witten with a four yard touchdown pass.

Witten had two touchdown catches while Miles Austin had 10 receptions for 72 yards.

Dallas travels to Kansas City next Sunday.
