Sunday, August 22:  The Dallas Cowboys squeaked by the San Diego Chargers last night, 16-14.  The Cowboys are now 2-1 in the NFL preseason, but it hasn't been all biscuits and gravy.  The Cowboys offense has struggled, actually going nearly 10 quarters without an offensive touchdown.  As for the defense, the Chargers had nearly 100 more total yards in the first half than the Cowboys.  Linebacker Keith Brooking knows what the 'boys need to do on defense to fix the problems.  "We gave up some big plays, which you can't have. You know guys not taking care of their responsibility, so we'll get that corrected and this is obviously a good test for us. This is a good football team, and we gave up one score in the first half, but I was real pleased."

The Cowboys enjoyed the turnout of fans at Qualcomm Stadium, many of them Cowboys fans.  The Cowboys will now play at Houston, Saturday, August 28.
