After losing rookie sensation running back DeMarco Murray for the season, the Cowboys have signed veteran running back Sammy Morris from the New England Patriots.

Murray suffered a broken ankle Sunday in the Cowboys loss to the New York Giants. Felix Jones will start Saturday against the Buccaneers and Morris will back up Jones.

This season Morris has accounted 20 carries for 56 yards.
