Friday, July 23:  Preseason training camp is right around the corner for the Dallas Cowboys.  The Cowboys will play in the NFL Hall of Fame game against Cincinnati on August 8, thus starting training camp a week earlier than other teams.  Dallas will be with new draftees, Linebacker Sean Lee and receiver Dez Bryant.  Jerry Jones was very complementary towards the new players, saying they helped get the contract negotiations started.

Head Coach Wade Phillips added, "Coaching wise, there is nothing more that could help me than to sign those rookies when you have an extra week to work those guys. I thought that was a tremendous step out of Stephen and Jerry got done. That really helps us coaching wise."

Bryant agreed to a five-year deal worth 11.8 million, 8.3 million guaranteed.  Lee received a four-year deal with 1.7 million guaranteed.  Training camp starts Saturday in San Antonio.
