Monday, April 15, 2013 - 12:51pm

El Paso Country Club will once again play host to the 2013 Club Car Pro-President Team Championship. One of the most awaited events on the Sun Country PGA schedule every year, the Club Car Pro-President is the ceremonial kick off to the season and features more than 40 of the top PGA Professionals from El Paso and New Mexico playing alongside their amateur partners.

Along with longtime partner Club Car, the Sun Country PGA has positioned the Pro-President to be one of the premier events on the schedule each year. Annually featuring a full-field of PGA professionals, the event features a unique mix of golf professionals and leadership from golf clubs across the Sun Country PGA section.

This year’s event will feature Pro Sweeps (an individual PGA professional 36-hole stroke-play competition), the Pro-President (Professional and President teamed up against the other teams of Professionals and Presidents) and Pro-Am results (Thursdays round will be made up of teams consisting of Professionals, their President partners and three additional amateur partners).
The event, its participants and tournament officials are open to the media. Final results will be forwarded to the media following conclusion of the event.
