Jonathan Galvez’s three-run home run in the fourth inning helped the El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Reno Aces 6-4 Friday at Aces Ballpark. Galvez finished the game 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and two runs scored.
The Reno Aces accumulated a season-high 22 hits in their 12-2 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas Thursday at Aces Ballpark in Reno. The Aces scored at least one run each of the second through seventh innings in the rout.

Starting pitcher, and one time Houston Astros outfielder, Jason Lane, was called up to the Padres from Triple-A El Paso this morning. Lane was 5-4 this season for the Chihuahuas, with a 4.36 ERA in 11 games started.
The El Paso Chihuahuas won their fourth straight game Sunday, beating the Tacoma Rainiers 5-4 at Southwest University Park. El Paso has now won seven of its last nine games. Matt Wisler pitched six innings and allowed just one run.

Sunday’s game in Tacoma started with three scoreless innings before turning into a 14-12 slugfest won by the El Paso Chihuahuas. There were seven lead changes in the game, as five different relievers were given blown saves.
