The Miami Hurricanes will be led by interim Head Coach Jeff Stoutland will lead Miami in the 2010 Hyundai Sun Bowl against Notre Dame, after the firing of Head Coach Randy Shannon at the end of the regular season.  The coaching change hasn't dampened the enthusiasm for the 'Canes first matchup with the Irish in 20 years.

"Midway through the season I saw on ESPN that we had a contract to play them in 2012, but looks like I am going to get a chance to play them on my way out. I can't think of any other way to go out and to put this program back to where it needs to be, and leave a lasting impression for next season," said Senior Defensive Back Ryan Hill.  "I think this is a big game for us, trying to go out with a bang. Obviously Notre Dame is not where they want to be, and neither are we, but I think we can go out and have a full on game and make a lasting impression."

Kickoff is 12:00pm, December 31st at Sun Bowl Stadium.  The game is sold out.
