The last time Bob Stull hired a basketball coach, he listened to the advice of John Calipari and selected Tony Barbee.

Calipari has been pushing another name to Stull this week.

In Thursday's press conference, the UTEP Athletic Director said the Kentucky Coach had called him with a hiring recommendation. That person is Orlando Antigua, an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. Antigua is 37 years old, born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City. He played at the University of Pittsburgh and as been an assisant coach at Pitt, Memphis and Kentucky.

It's not known if Antigua will receive an interview.
