Britton Sets Herself up for a Junior World Championship

Wednesday, July 21:  Former Chapin Huskie and Penn State Sophomore-to-be Evonne Britton has lit up the competition at track and field, and is now competing at the IAAF Junior World Championships in New Brunswick, Canada.  Britton is running the 100M Hurdles and the 400 Hurdles.  Today, Britton will take part in the 100M Hurdles semifinals, an event she must finish in the top four of her heat to advance to the final.  Britton was the USA Junior Championships runner-up in the 100 Hurdles and was the champion of the 400 Hurdles.  As a senior at Chapin, Britton won the 4A State Champion in the 100M Hurdles, while taking a silver medal in the 300 Hurdles.
