The Brian Young Pro Camp has returned to El Paso this weekend. The former Andress High, UTEP, and NFL star returns each year to hold his football camp at the Sun Bowl.

It’s a free camp, designed to bring Junior and Senior high school football players the knowledge and information needed to pursue collegiate football careers. This collegiate development will come in the areas of Leadership Development, Football Skill Development for college-level football, Fitness & Healthy Eating Habits and Preparations for the SAT/ACT and other university entrance requirements.

"I really wanted to stress the importance of education," said Young. "Everybody aspires and everybody wants to play in the NFL but the fact is there are 1,500 plus spots for the entire world to play in the NFL. For the guys who aren't fortunate enough to make it to that level, we want to make sure that they have an educational background. Make sure they have something to fall back on. Just show them what it takes to be successful by guys who have been successful."

Young gets help from some notable instructors including former Dallas Cowboy Clayton Holmes, former Philadelphia Eagle Freddie Mitchell, Saints receiver Tim Duckworth, and former Miners Cedric Johnson, David Cotchery, Rocky Perez and Mike Deal.
