Following his unanimous decision victory over Daniel Dawson on ESPN's Friday Night Fights main event, Borderland boxer Austin "No Doubt" Trout sat down with NC9's Aaron Rich live to talk about the fight and his future in boxing.

FIGHT STORY:

Austin 'No Doubt' Trout won a unanimous decision over Daniel 'Awesome' Dawson in Temecula, California, a bout televised on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. Trout won all three judges cards, 97-90.

Trout was dominate in the first two rounds, easily maneuvering around Dawson. In the third round, everything changed. Dawson landed a nice combination and knocked Trout down, then just two minutes later, still in the third round, Dawson connected on a hard right which landed Trout on the canvas again.

You could hear Trout's corner telling him to relax at the break, and from then on, Trout dominated, landed combinations, easily winning the next three rounds before knocking Dawson down to the canvas in the 8th round, the first time in Dawson's career he had been knocked down.

Trout improves to 27-2 overall, while Dawson fell to 40-4.
