Season Ends At Sweet 16

A great season came to a screaching halt  for Bowie at the regional semi finals in San Angelo as The Colony defeated the Bears 61-45.  Bowie had been giving up an average of 43 points per game but allowed 43 entering the fourth quarter and trailed by 11 entering the final frame.

The entire game was an uphill battle as Bowie fell behind early and trailed 14-8 at the end of the first quarter.  The 2nd quarter was Bowie's best as it ripped off a 10-0 scoring run to take a one point lead.  The Bears could not hold the advantage however and trailed by six at the break.

Nnamdi Ezenwa led Bowie with 17  points.

The Bears end a great season with a 31-3 record.
