NMSU is 0-3, and are 43-point underdogs against Boise at Aggie Memorial Stadium.
NMSU Head Coach DeWayne Walker said, "You play against a team like Boise, the third ranked team of the country, and coach Petersen has done a great job building his program. I think it's going to be a great challenge for our team, and I think as we get ready for conference play, and try to finish up the season, so I think it's going to be great for us." Junior Safety Taveon Rodgers said, "They are just another team to me, to tell you the truth. There is no pressure, they are the number three team, but I am going to try my best, the team will try their best and win this thing." Junior DB Jonte Green added, "I expect a good, tough challenge. They are number three so I know it's not going to be a easy game to go into, but we'll have to fight our butts off to get a win."
