The New Mexico State soccer team has a busy week with three matches in five days. The Aggies begin the week and host I-10 rival UTEP, Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. at the soccer complex. NM State then hits the road for a pair of contests at Montana, Friday, Sept 14 at 4 p.m. in Missoula, Mont., and New Mexico, Sunday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. in Albuquerque.

UTEP
The Miners are 6-2-0 this season after a 1-0 win over Sam Houston State, Sept. 9. Senior midfielder Tess Hall leads the UTEP offense with a team-high five goals and five assists. Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Dilling has played every minute in goal for the Miners with a 1.13 goals against average, 28 saves and .757 save percentage.

Series Notes
UTEP has a 2-0-0 lead in the all-time series following a 2-0 win in El Paso, Aug. 19, 2011. This is the first meeting in Las Cruces since the 2010 contest was cancelled due to weather conditions.

Previous Meeting
The Aggies fell at UTEP, 2-0, in the 2011 season opener after a pair of late goals, Aug. 19, 2011. Forward Jennae Cambra led the Aggie offense with four shots and two shots on goal. Defensively, goalkeeper Erin Wosick anchored the Crimson and White with five saves.
Montana

The Grizzlies have a 4-4-0 overall record in 2012 after splitting two matches in Las Vegas, Nev. Montana fell at UNLV, 3-1, Sept. 9, but defeated Indiana State, 1-0, Sept. 7. Senior forward Erin Craig posts a team-best four goals for the offense. Senior goalkeeper Kristen Hoon leads the defense with a 1.35 goals against average, 31 saves and .738 save percentage.

Series Notes
The Aggies and Grizzlies tied the only meeting in school history with a 1-1 double overtime draw, Aug. 22, 2010 in Las Cruces.

Previous Meeting
For only the second time in school history, NM State ended a match tied after 110 minutes. The Aggies posted a 1-1 tied with Montana after double overtime in NM State's 2010 season opener. Forward Yolanda McMillion evened the match at 1-1 in the 67th minute. In her first career start, goalkeeper Mikaela Bitner grabbed a match-high five saves.
