Monday, June 14:  The 48th Annual Ascarate Junior Golf Tournament began today at Ascarate Golf Course, with the Boys 15-17 division looking pretty competitive.  Defending Champ Dustin Blair leads the way after shooting 100 in the first round.  He leads Jere Pelletier by 8 strokes after the Bill Eschenbrenner Tournament Champ shot a 108. Isaac Merry shot a 109, tied with Matthrew Lopez. Carson Greathouse shot a 110, tied with Steven Venegas and Julian Ybanez.  The leaders tee off on Tuesday at 9:15am.
