Oprah Winfrey has confirmed that cyclist Lance Armstrong admitted using performance enhancing drugs. Today, Winfrey conducted a one on one interview with Armstrong saying he was forthcoming as she asked him details about doping allegations -- that he's denied for years.

Armstrong won ever Tour de France from 1999 to 2005. he was stripped of those titles by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency last year.

The two and a half hour interview will air in two parts over two night on Winfrey's OWN Network.

The premier of South Australia State wants Lance Armstrong to hand in his winnings.

The head of the state said today that he wants Armstrong to repay race fees after his reported confession to Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs during his cycling career.

South Australia's government paid Armstrong several million dollars in appearance fees for competing in the Tour Down Under bike race in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

"Yeah, I mean he's a cheat and he's deceived people, and I don't think people like that should gain any more attention," said South Australia Premier, Jay Weatherill.
