Seattle
The Redhawks are 7-7-2 with a 2-2-2 WAC record. Sophomore forward Stephanie Verdoia leads the team with eight goals, and freshman goalkeeper Brianna Smallidge has a 1.14 goals against average, 54 saves and .740 save percentage.

Series Notes
Friday's match marks the first meeting between NM State and Seattle.

Idaho
The Vandals are 5-12-1 overall and 2-3-1 in WAC play entering the final weekend of the regular season. Idaho hosts Denver, Friday, Oct. 26 before the meeting with the Aggies. Senior forward Chelsea Small has a team-high seven goals, and senior goalkeeper Liz Boyden directs the defense with 2.06 goals against average, 81 saves and .681 save percentage.

Series Notes
The series between the Aggies and Vandals is tied after three meetings with a 1-1-1 record. Last season, the teams played to a 1-1 draw after double overtime, Oct. 14, 2011 in Las Cruces.

Previous Meeting
In its second consecutive WAC overtime match, NM State posted a 1-1 draw against Idaho in double overtime, Oct. 14, 2011, in Las Cruces. The match was scoreless for 80 minutes until forward Chelsea Small converted a free kick from 20 yards away to give Idaho a 1-0 lead. The Aggies answered in the 86th minute, when forward Layla Todd drew both a Vandal defender and goalkeeper Caroline Towles away from the net. Todd found forward Yolanda McMillion for the tip in to knot the match at 1-1.

Aggies Edged on Senior Day 2-1
In the final home match of the 2012 season, NM State fell to UTSA, 2-1, Oct. 21 in Las Cruces. Freshman midfielder/forward Miranda Valdez scored her first career goal in the second half. The Roadrunners had a 2-0 lead at halftime following goals in the 24th and 43rd minute. NM State had scoring opportunities in the first half with each team taking eight shots. The Aggies ended the game with a season-high 15 shots, and Valdez posted a game-high four shots. In the second half, the Aggies cut UTSA's lead to 2-1, when Valdez found the back of the net after a pass from senior defender Vanessa Thomas.

Aggies Fall at Texas State
NM State returned to WAC play but fell at Texas State, 3-0, Oct. 19 in San Marcos, Texas. The Bobcats scored quickly and had a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the first half. Texas State added two goals in the 59th and 87th minute of action. The Aggie offense tallied eight shots in the game but failed to convert.

Season Finale
Unfortunately for the Aggies, NM State ends the season at Idaho, Oct. 28, despite the results. The Aggies did not qualify for the six-team WAC Tournament this season.
