The New Mexico State men's basketball team continues its home stand against Southern, Monday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. and McNeese State, Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. inside the Pan American Center. The Southern game is the first game of an Aggie double header with the women's team facing UC Santa Barbara at 7:30 p.m. The game will be shown live on AggieVision and broadcast across New Mexico on Comcast, Fox Sports-Arizona, KVIA 24/7 (Channel 7.3), ESPN Full Court and Both games are available on KGRT 104 FM with the 'Voice of the Aggies' Jack Nixon, and the pregame show starts 30 minutes prior to tip. The contests are also available in Spanish on Vista 98 FM with Martin Cortez.

New Mexico State Aggies
The Aggies are 6-4 this season after they opened a five-game home stand with a 92-65 win over Western New Mexico, Dec. 14. NM State has three players in double figures with redshirt senior Wendell McKines leading the way with 16.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Christian Kabongo adds 15.3 points per contest, while senior guard Hernst Laroche provides 11.6 points per game.

Scouting Southern
The Jaguars have a 3-7 overall record after beating MacMurry College, 66-57, Dec. 9 and falling to Jacksonville State, 55-50, Dec. 10 in New Orleans, La., and at Southeastern Louisiana, 65-61, Dec. 12. The Jaguars face UTEP, Dec. 17 in El Paso. Junior guard Derick Beltran has a team-high 12.2 points per game, while senior forward Quinton Doggett adds 11.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Series Notes
This is the first meeting between the Aggies and Jaguars.

Scouting McNeese State
The Cowboys are 4-5 after falling at Louisiana Tech, 60-58, Dec. 14. McNeese State meets UTEP, in El Paso, Dec. 19. The Cowboys have two players in double digits with senior guard/forward Patrick Richard leading the way with 16.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Junior guard Jeremie Mitchell is contributing to the offense with 13.0 points per contest.
