Denver arrived in Las Cruces with a seven game win streak.  The Pioneers leave town with a one game losing streak.

New Mexico State dominated Denver in a 53-42  victory late Wednesday night.  The Aggies were dominating defensively allowing just four offensive rebounds while holding the Pioneers to 40 per cent shooting from the field including just  3-19  on three point attempts.

Tyrone Watson led NMSU in scoring with 12  points.

The game started at 9:00 to accommodate ESPNU and was billed as a "pajama party."
