Tuesday, March 30:  It looks like Tim Floyd will be heading back to UTEP after all.  After 11th hour negotiations late last night, contract disputes between UTEP and Tim Floyd look like they have been resolved, and UTEP will name Tim Floyd its' next basketball coach, with a press conference schedule for 4pm MDT.  Newschannel 9's Fred Albers says money, length of contract and moving were the biggest obstacles in the contract with Floyd, but it looks like those obstacles have been set aside.  Floyd was an assitant coach to Don Haskins in the 1980's, before become head coach at Idaho, University of New Orleans, Iowa State, The Chicago Bulls of the NBA, USC, and is currently an assistant coach with the New Orleans Hornets of the NBA.
