Waiting in line to cross back into the United States has always been a time consuming process. So the U.S. Customs and Border Protection began installing new technology to cut down on wait times. Beginning June 1st radio frequency scanning equipment will be used in conjunction with special document cards to enter the U.S. The process is as easy as holding up your card and driving through to the officer's booth. This new technology will increase security and cutback on wait times.
