CENTRAL EL PASO — Two El Pasoans are recovering from stab wounds tonight after police say one of the victim's ex-boyfriend stabbed them.
It happened just before 5 a.m. at a home near Valencia Pl. and Sambrano Ave.
When officers got to the scene, police found 40-year-old Thomas Colon with stab wounds to his arm and chest area.
41-year-old Gina Escoto was stabbed in the torso area.
Police say it all began when Escoto's ex-boyfriend assaulted her, when Colon tried to intervene, he also got hurt.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
The two victims are at UMC and in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
