El Paso, TX (KTSM) — A Lower Valley is concerned with the pump station in his neighborhood. Israel Fuentes claims the El Paso Water Utilities pump station, a machine which is supposed to control flooding in parts of the Sun City, may not be working properly. The retired El Pasoan said this past weekend's storm, which he said only lasted 30 minutes in the area, created a flooding problem at Elliott and Carlson streets in the area.
El Paso Water Utilities have reached out to Fuentes. We have also reached out to the company and are awaiting confirmation for an on-camera interview.
