Mountainair, NM — To celebrate re-opening, Manzano Mountains State Park is having an Open House on Sunday, April 27, from 1-4 p.m.
“Bring the family and enjoy the day at Manzano Mountains,” said State Park Division Director Tommy Mutz. “We have special events planned throughout the afternoon, and this is a great opportunity to rediscover the park.”
Visitors will be treated to live raptors and a birds of prey demonstration and education program by New Mexico Raptors, Inc. at 1 p.m. Representative Vickie Perea from District 50 will join the celebration at 2 p.m. and bring light refreshments for everyone, sponsored by the local community and herself. Learn about and tour Manzano Mountains with State Park staff throughout the day!
