Las Cruces, NM — The New Mexico State track and field team continues its 2014 outdoor campaign when it travels to San Antonio, Texas to compete at the UTSA Invitational on Saturday, April 19.
The New Mexico State equestrian team has earned the No. 7 seed at the 2014 National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) National Championship, which runs April 17-19 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. Along with the No. 7 seed, NM State (9-5) will face No. 10 seed SMU on April 17 then No. 2 seed Oklahoma State. After sweeping Bakersfield in the final home weekend of the season, NM State (26-16; 8-1 WAC) heads out on the road to finish out the season beginning with a three-game series at Grand Canyon April 18-19. The teams battle in a doubleheader on Friday, April 18 beginning at 6 p.m. and conclude the weekend with a single game on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The NM State baseball team will host Seattle U this coming weekend, April 17-19 at Presley Askew Field. Friday’s game will be at 6:05 p.m. and is scheduled to be televised on Aggie Vision. Saturday’s contest can be heard on KSNM 570 with Jeff Matthews, beginning at 6:05 p.m., with the series finale starting at 1:05 p.m. also on Aggie Vision.
The New Mexico State football team will host its annual spring Football game Saturday, April 19 at 6 p.m. inside Aggie Memorial Stadium. Fans can watch the game live on NMStateSports.com as well listen to the game with Hall of Famer the ‘Voice of the Aggies’ Jack Nixon beginning at 6 p.m., on KSNM 570 AM.
