LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The 24th anniversary of the Las Cruces Bowling Alley Massacre Monday was remembered with law enforcement asking the public to provide in details in the unsolved case from 1990.
24 years ago on February 10, two gunmen are believed to have gone into the Las Cruces Bowl bowling alley shooting seven people.
"It's about time that we learned what happened and we put the people that committed this crime behind bars," said Las Cruces Police Spokesperson Dan Trujillo.
Four of those shot were children with a 6-year-old and 2-year-old killed and the gunmen were never arrested.
Trujillo said they continue following up on leads and ask anybody with any information to contact them.
"We're hoping to find them," Trujillo said. "We're hoping that somebody in this community in our community would have some answers for us."
