El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Chef Carlos Marrufo from Landry's Seafood joined us Friday on NewsChannel 9 Today for our Let's Cook El Paso segment.

Chicken and Sausage Pappardelle
Sherry cream sauce
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 table spoons of dry sherry
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of chicken base
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of fresh shallot
In a pan, add extra virgin olive oil.
Heat it to medium heat.
Cook until tender then deglaze your pan with the dry sherry.
Reduce heat to half.
Add heavy cream and reduce heat to half.
Add chicken paste and cook until creamy and smooth.
In a separate pan, cook the chicken breast and any sausage you like.
Add mushrooms, peas and pasta with sauce.
Mix all together and enjoy!
