El Paso, TX (KTSM) — A 32-year-old El Paso man was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated for the third time early Thursday morning.
El Paso Police with the DWI Task Force pulled over Juan Francisco Breceda, 32, after they spotted him driving a 1997 Saturn 82 MPH on I-10 east at 3:22 a.m. Thursday morning. During the course of the investigation, they determined that Breceda was intoxicated.
EPPD placed Breceda under arrest and discovered two baggies of cocaine in his front shirt pocket weighing 2.1 grams. Police also found a folded five dollar bill in the center console of the Saturn that also allegedly contained cocaine.
Breceda was booked into the El Paso County Jail for 3rd DWI or more, Possession of Controlled Substance (cocaine), and two outstanding traffic warrants. His bonds totaled $10,000.
