El Paso, TX (KTSM) — UPDATE:
El Paso Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives were able to locate missing 34-year-old Maria Inez Franklin in Juarez, Mexico late Thursday night. Franklin had been reported missing Wednesday after she did not return to her home around 10:00 a.m.. Family members feared for her safety due to various medical conditions that required her to take medication.
Law enforcement in Juarez detained Franklin and escorted her to the International Port of Entry where she was turned over to the care of EPPD. She has since been reunited with her family and is reported to be in good health.
El Paso Police Department need the community's assistance locating a missing woman who may be in danger Thursday evening.
Maria Inez Franklin, 34, was reported missing Wednesday evening by her family. Franklin has a medical condition that requires her to take daily medication. Her family does not believe that Franklin has her medication on her, which indicates that she may be in danger.
Franklin was last seen walking along the 11600 block of Casa View in El Paso's east side around 10:30 a.m.. Wednesday. She was wearing a dark blue UTEP Miner windbreaker and light blue Adidas running pants with a white stripe down the legs. Franklin is described as Hispanic, about 5'2" tall, and weighing approximately 170lbs with brown eyes and brown hair.
