El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The El Paso Museum of History will host a healthy Thanksgiving workshop on Thursday, November 21, at 6:30pm.
Local nutrition educator Jacqueline Cordova of The Green Ingredient will be back to present another informative talk to create a tasty Thanksgiving meal and keep it healthy.
This workshop is free and open to the public at 510 North Santa Fe Street.
As many know, even the traditional Thanksgiving meal has changed over the years to be not so traditional and not so healthy.
Processed turkeys and heavy gravies make up many meals.
How can you go back to the real meal without sacrificing taste? Very easily as Jacqueline Cordova will show you.
Not only will you get great hints on how to prepare that meal, but you will be shown how to make your own almond milk. It’s easy – no squeezing of almonds required.
